About the Neighbourhood
The Trocadéro Plaza
The Trocadéro Plaza
Situated in the quiet 16th arrondissement, this apartment is in the perfect location for a quiet getaway while still being right in the centre of the city. This area is known as the Chaillot Quarter. The village of Chaillot was absorbed into Paris in the nineteenth century and became an area of grand Second Empire avenues, opulent mansions and outstanding museums. Turn left on Avenue Victor Hugo to reach the Trocadéro Plaza which features the Marine Museum and the Museum of Modern Art amongst others.
The Arc de Triomphe
The Arc de Triomphe
Walk along the Champs Elysées, stop and climb to the top of the Arc de Triomphe and enjoy the view of the Place de la Concorde on one side, and Paris' business centre, La Défense, on the other.

Turning right from the Champs Elysées you soon will see the Eiffel Tower, another high vantage point on a clear day. For an elegant and memorable dinner, make a reservation (a must) at the Jules Vernes restaurant in the Eiffel Tower, an extremely popular venue for special occasions.

Place de la Concorde
Place de la Concorde
Near the apartment is the Place de La Concorde, all the museums, and the Avenue Montaigne where the best designer shops are located, such as Dior, YSL, Ungaro, Lancel, Estrada, Todd's, Cartier, Hermes and more. Subways, buses, or taxis, are close by but walking is recommended as the most enoyable way to see this part of Paris.
