This luxury one-bedroom apartment is located in one of the most exclusive areas of the city, with the stately park, the Jardin du Luxembourg, just outside the door.

The foyer of the 19th century building and its graceful staircase evoke the elegance of its era. The apartment is meticulously decorated and furnished with antiques and fine art. Tall windows fill the rooms with light and provide a view of the classic surroundings.

Entering the apartment, on the left is a spacious dining area with a table seating up to six guests. Opposite it is the living room, decorated in a classical style interspersed with Asian art. This is a place to relax or entertain, with deep rich colors and comfortable antique furniture. Guests can enjoy the use of a television, DVD player, and internet access.

A pair of comfortable sofas make an L-shape in one corner, and several period armchairs and a coffee table provide space for entertaining several visitors. A writing desk in one corner makes a quiet spot for working.

The kitchen is fully equipped and includes a dishwasher, and can accommodate both the seasoned home chef and the casual gourmet.

The bedroom is decorated in deep red tones, with a comfortable king size bed, a spacious closet with plenty of storage space for clothes, and thoughtful touches such as an antique make-up table and mirror.

The adjoining full bathroom has both a walk-in shower and a bathtub. A toilet is separate.

The apartment is located in one of Paris' most cherished neighborhoods. With the Sorbonne and the stately Panthéon, the Jardin du Luxembourg, and the lively market street of Rue Mouffetard, there is no end to fun and entertainment in this quarter. On Mouffetard are fishmongers, butchers, delicatessens, fresh vegetables, fruit stands, bakeries as well as numerous cafés and restaurants. Enhancing guests' convenience are numerous metro/subway stations nearby, making the apartment an ideal base from which to travel the city.

Just to the north east of the Latin Quarter is the Jardin des Plantes, a large park which contains Paris' Natural History Museum. Beyond this is the Seine river and slightly further away, the storied Cathédrale Notre Dame.

The famed Pantheon, where very well-known and illustrious French cultural figures are buried, such as Voltaire, Jean Jacques Rousseau, Victor Hugo, Emile Zola, André Malraux and Alexandre Dumas is located just a few minutes walk from the apartment.

The Jardin du Luxembourg is home to the French Senate. The scenic park also has a playground for children and a running path of two kilometres in length. There is also a large fountain and pond where the old and young play with miniature boats, and relax on benches and chairs enjoying the park's quiet, peaceful atmosphere.

The area around the apartment is one of the most diverse in the city, offering a touch of exclusivity, a hint of student life, two world class gardens and close access to the Seine. It's one of the most exciting areas in Paris.
