Located on the 3rd floor of a building on the main street of Île Saint-Louis, this apartment provides a comfortable and convenient holiday for two to four guests, with a double bedroom and a pair of sofa beds.

The main salon of the apartment is decorated with lush fabrics and colors, which complement the natural light from the windows. The living room also features hardwood floors and a fieplace. Two sleeping sofas in the living room can accommodate two extra guests.

The apartment features a fully equipped kitchen, designed and decorated in a contemporary style. It's great for dining in and experimenting with local ingredients.

The small dining table is a comfortable spot to enjoy a quiet evening at home. In the living room is a television and DVD player.

The master bedroom is tastefully decorated with luxurious materials and high quality linens and has a large double bed. A large window helps the bedroom achieve a light and airy feel blending nicely with the intimacy afforded by the decor.

The Île Saint-Louis, named for King Louis IX of France, is one of the most sought after areas of Paris. An independent island in the Seine river, it is located right in the center of the city.

The apartment is quiet and peaceful while being within easy reach of all of the vibrancy of Paris. While its location is very central, it is removed enough to feel like a small town unto itself. The narrow streets of the island and the refined style of the apartment invoke a quieter, gentler time.

The island is connected to the rest of Paris by bridges to both banks of the river and by the Pont Saint Louis to the Île de la Cité (home to Notre Dame Cathedral). This island was formerly used for the grazing of market cattle and stocking wood. One of France's first examples of urban planning, it was mapped and built from end to end during the 17th-century reigns of Henri IV and Louis XIII.

The island has just a few narrow one-way streets. Most of the island is residential, but there are several quaint restaurants, shops, cafés and ice cream parlours at street level, as well as one large church, Saint-Louis-en-l'Île. Locals and tourists flock here to come to Berthillon, Paris' most popular ice cream parlor.
