The tower is situated inside a private estate which was once a favourite hunting ground of French royalty. Two and a half hectares (six acres) in size, it is surrounded by the Andelle River, with quiet and picturesque grounds ideal for fishing and walking. Chickens, geese, and sheep roam the grounds, and there is always the possibility of fresh eggs for breakfast.
The large living area features a fully equipped American bar-style kitchen with refrigerator, oven and plenty of cooking space.
The centre of the living area is at at the heart of the tower, and soars up 12 metres (40 feet) to the roof.
Maps of the local trails are available at the tower. The tower also features a private entrance into an underground passage leading to the nearby village of Lyons la Forest. Completely restored while still retaining its original rustic allure, this home offers a balance of modern and historic character. The owners live on the property, and respect their guests' privacy, but are available for assistance and advice.

What a wonderful visit we have had here. The pictures do not do this lovely guest house justice. The owner has thought of everything to make staying here comfortable and pleasant. We couldn’t have dreamed of a nicer place or more pleasant stay.

We spent a wonderful week. Mrs Steinfatt was a warm hostess who made sure we did not run out of fresh eggs from her hens and of calvados made from the apple trees of her estate. She was equally helpful with information about the region. This has been an idyllic week.
