Entering the house, a short flight of stairs leads up to the living and dining area. In the living room, there are two comfortable sofas, a large old fireplace, and a stereo. The dining-room has an antique table that seats ten, and a pair of French doors which lead outside onto a small breakfast terrace. The fully-equipped kitchen is on the same level.
A staircase leads up to the rooftop terrace. The south-west facing terrace gets the sun from dawn to dusk, and has an excellent view of the surrounding medieval town and the sea and hills. Please note that for safety reasons, due to the height of the terraces, the owner does not accept children under 12.

The Place du Château is a popular local meeting spot, with lots of restaurants, an arena where locals gather to play boules, and a beautiful view towards the Alps.
The pebbled beach of Cagnes-sur-Mer is just a fifteen minute walk from the foot of the hill. Nearby, on the next hill, is the Musée Renoir, where Auguste Renoir used to live. About fifteen golf courses can be reached within half an hour’s drive.
Heading away from the sea up to the mountains, there are many interesting destinations, including attractive hiking trails, and ski slopes within a ninety minute drive.
Many artists have left their influences on this part of the world, including a chapel decorated by Matisse in the medieval city of Vence, and the Picasso museum in Antibes.
