About the Neighbourhood
The Marais
The Marais
The apartment is located in the 4th district in the heart of the Marais. The famous Hôtel de Ville is just outside the door, and the Louvre Museum and Notre Dame Cathedral are close by. The Seine is very close, and one can enjoy simply strolling the banks and taking in the rich history and scenery of the city.

The Marais district is one of Paris' most fashionable neighborhoods. Full of galleries, restaurants, boutiques, museums and cultural centers, it feels like its own unique world, despite its convenient location in central Paris. Enjoy browsing the shops on the Rue du Rivoli or spending an afternoon with a picnic lunch on the grass in the Place des Vosges.

The Seine
The Seine
A short walk to the east is the historic Place de la Bastille, featuring comfortable cafes and other amenities. On Wednesdays and Sundays, the animated Marché Bastille is a popular place to shop, as vendors come from all over France to sell fresh vegetables, fruit, cheese, fish, meat, bread, wine, and pastries.

After having an apéritif at the historic Brasserie Bofinger, cross the plaza and take in a performance at the Opéra Bastille. In any season, the Marais is one of Paris' most beloved neighborhoods.
