About the Neighbourhood
The Louvre
The Louvre
The apartment is just a few minutes’ walk from the Musée d'Orsay, home to a magnificent collection of work by the Impressionists, and is just a block up from the banks of the River Seine.

The Pont Royal bridge crosses the Seine to the Jardin des Tuileries, a classically elegant public park linking the Place de la Concorde at the base of the Champs Élysées to the courtyard of the Louvre art museum.

The National Assembly is close by and is the start of the famous Boulevard Saint-Germain which leads into the St-Germain-des-Près district, the centre of French intellectual life after World War II.

The famous Brasserie Lipp
The famous Brasserie Lipp
Quintessential French cafés can be found on almost every corner, of which the most famous are Les Deux Magots and le Café de Flore, and there are also many outstanding but reasonably priced restaurants throughout the neighbourhood. It is also the home of the famed Brasserie Lipp, which welcomes the winner of the most precious annual literary prize, the Goncourt, which consists of one dinner at the brasserie.

All necessary conveniences are within easy walking distance, including grocery stores, pâtisseries, pharmacies, and banking services. All of Paris is rapidly accessible via three equidistant Metro stations: Rue-du-Bac, St-Germain-des-Près, and Musée d'Orsay.
