Villa Soleil is a newly built, spacious and comfortable holiday home, situated in Vaugrenier Presidences, a small community close to Biot and Antibes. The two storey house overlooks a part of the National State Park, and beyond is the Mediterranean and Antibes. In front of the house is a garden and a large terrace facing south and west.

The air conditioned ground floor has the living room with a satellite television that receives all main English channels, a stereo, a DVD video player, the dining area with an antique dining table, a well equipped kitchen, a laundry room, a WC, and one of the four bedrooms.

Upstairs are three air-conditioned bedrooms and two bathrooms with toilets and heated tile floors. The house sleeps seven guests comfortably: one of the bedrooms has a double bed, two have two single beds put together, and the fourth bedroom has one single bed. The air conditioning units alternatively supplies warm air. From the ground floor, a door leads directly out onto the large and sunny terrace. The terrace is ideal for dining outdoors, as part of it can be covered by a large electrically operated shade. From here, there's a tremendous view over the surrounding countryside. There's always plenty to do just steps from the house, as the community of Vaugrenier Presidences has many special facilities just for its residents, including a large swimming pool, tennis courts, and a playground for children.

Vaugrenier Presidences is a little community of homes on the Mediterranean coast, beyond and above the A8 highway, between Nice and Antibes, close to the old village of Biot. About half the residents of this "Domaine" are permanent residents. The nearest beach is the Villeneuve-Loubet-Plage, 1.5 kilometres away, to sunbath and swim in the azure Mediterranean water. There are restaurants and shops at Villeneuve-Loubet-Plage, and more shops and services available just 5 minutes' drive away at Biot. The trains from the railway station at Villeneuve-Loubet-Plage take you comfortably to all parts of the nearby coast.

It's just a short walk to Vaugrenier State Park, which is a very large and beautiful park with many trails to explore. There are many characteristic old villages in this region, such as Mougins, Valbonne, and St. Paul de Vence, all of which have weekly markets on different days. It is a hilly area, well suited for hiking, hillwalking, and cycling. There are paths along the riverbanks, in the forests, and in the hills and mountains nearby. There are lots of golf courses in the vicinity, and it's generally easy to reserve a tee-off.

This stretch of France's Mediterranean coast is renowned for the vibrant and glamorous atmosphere of the cities like Cannes and Monte Carlo. Every May, Cannes hosts the world's foremost film festival, which attracts stars by the hundreds. It's also a wonderful region for cultural activities, with many museums, theatres, and festivals. Just outside Antibes is Europe's largest Marineland, which should be visited. The coast is dotted with casinos, and there are lively night clubs and discotheques in Nice, Juan-les-Pins and Cannes. It's a ninety minute drive to the Mediterranean Alps for great skiing and other alpine sports.

This modern villa is superbly equipped, beautifully presented, and enjoys an elevated site giving good views over the surrounding area and the Mediterranean Sea at Antibes. The Domaine is well laid out, easy to find, yet secluded, convenient to all amenities and tourist attractions. The area is surrounded by the renowned names that have made the French Riviera world famous.

After a day of travelling, on arriving at Villa Soleil, we were able to immediately relax and begin to enjoy our holiday. This was made possible by all the care and attention that had gone into preparing such a welcoming villa. The situation of Villa Soleil within the "domaine" was stunning and we enjoyed all the facilities provided. The central location was ideal for touring all of the Cote d'Azur.

Villa Soleil is a beautiful and luxurious house, in a quiet and safe community. There's a great view from the terrace, looking over the sea towards Antibes. We particularly enjoyed visiting all the villages and museums in the area.
