It is situated in ten acres (4 hectares) of private countryside, with grass, woodland, a well, and a stream – ideal surroundings in which to relax and unwind. This is a good base from which to tour the local historic towns and villages and sample the ciders and wines.
The owners live in a separate longhouse on the property. They fully respect the privacy of their guests, but are always available to give advice on the local area, places of interest, sports facilities and restaurants.
The property abounds with wildlife. Wild deer sometimes feed in the corner of the meadow. A variety of wild flowers includes orchids growing near the stream. Bird lovers can keep an eye out for buzzards, hawks and owls.

The countryside is green and lush with a great choice of woodland and forest walks. The coastline is a mixture of craggy coves and long stretches of sandy beach.
Walking is a great way to see your surroundings and there are many organised rambles for those who like to make new friends along the way. Horse riding, sailing and cruising are other enjoyable options. For those who prefer to explore by car the quiet roads, even in the summer months, make this an enjoyable option.
The town of Pontivy is only 20 minutes away, with its château, a large market square, chic boutiques and many pavement cafés and restaurants. Hennebont, Vannes, Carnac and Quimper are also well worth visiting and offer medieval architecture, formal gardens and historic sites. The coast is just 45 minutes away.
An hour away, Pont Aven has dozens of art galleries, and one can enjoy lunch or dinner overlooking the yachts in the estuary.
There are many water parks and local lakes, offering pedal and row boat hire, beaches and picnic areas, swings, volleyball courts, and crazy golf. Carnac's ‘Forest Adrenaline' has climbing ropes, adventure sports, and pony trekking.
