The building where the apartment is located was formed from two 17th century buildings, originally made for the nobility. Between them is a classical courtyard and gardens, and the studio is located just off the courtyard.
Two large French windows allow in plenty of light and look onto the garden of the courtyard. Next to one of the windows is a dining table for two.
In the bathroom is a bathtub with shower, a sink and toilet, and the washing machine.

In addition, the Marais is also one of the most historic areas in Paris. Popular with aristocrats in the seventeenth century, it was abandoned during the Revolution. When Baron Haussmann attempted to make Paris the most modern city in nineteenth-century Europe, the Marais district went unaltered. As a result the Marais retains its pre-nineteenth century splendour.
Nearby are the art museum of the Pompidou Centre, the Picasso Museum, the Louvre and the fabled Place des Vosges. Gare du Nord and Gare de l’Est train stations are both nearby.
